Tresor New Faces
Wed 06 December 2017 - 23:59

Club night founder and a DJ with sky-high aspirations, Jessie Belters has played a prominent part in the expansion of the Welsh capital’s growing music scene for the past year. Having already warmed up for well-respected figures such as DJ Stingray, Bruce, Mor Elian and Stojche, founded the techno night Doppler and more recently; a new night focusing on the skills of female DJs and breaking down the male-dominated music scene taboo, Jessie’s eclectic musical taste and vast vinyl collection have rapidly allowed her to become a credible stalwart in South Wales. Jessie can apply her skills indubitably whatever and whenever the occasion, but has really honed her skills within the dark, ethereal realms of techno and electro. With plenty of movements further afield on the horizon, Jessie is continually cultivating her already expansive skill-set much to the appreciation of all manner of party-goers and music lovers. Arni Gudmundsson is Àrni, an artist from Iceland who has been making the Berlin underground rounds as well as leaving a powerful techno footprint in various European venues, as his Soundcloud mixes reveal. Both of these techno youngbloods are hosted and welcomed by one of our best basement residents Mareena.
