The Berlin-based elusive undergeround techno label Monolith hosts tonight’s New Faces, presenting fresh artists from their roster of talent. Stefano Rocchi started working on music as a game or “beatboxing” with his friend Sirio Gry J. Stefano shares his emotions through electronic beats influenced by classic basics as Detroit Techno and Chicago house, minimalism and Rock ‘n’ roll. Now that he shaped up a deeply personal live set, he is looking forward to spreading these more intimate ideas to those who are looking for something deeper. Stefano‘s workflow is focused on the research of a very unique sound; despite the short activity of few years, his persistency allowed him to deliver a big amount of truly original productions to many different labels already and to print his first vinyl called “Contatto” on Love Blast, followed several months later by the second record, “Contrasto” on Blackwater. Italian artist Scarlit Port refers to his music as Sonics From The Ancient Contemporary Future. With Unhuman (Mano Simotas) he has received postive feedback for their new project Critical K. Alhek is Alessandro Sisti, a producer, DJ, live performer, sound designer and mastering technician from Italy. His first approach to electronic music production was in the early 2000s. In 2012 Alhek moved to Berlin, now he is active in the techno scene as producer and DJ.
