Tresor Pres. 5yrs PoleGroup
Tue 29 December 2015 - 23:59

Pole Group is Oscar Mulero‘s cutting edge label and booking agency, now 5 years of building a roster of esteemed artists in the club music genre. Mulero is a friend of Tresor for many years, having released on our label and provided countless unforgettable techno sets behind our decks. A maverick of the Iberian techno scene, Mulero‘s influence has reached an international audience with appearances in the most famous clubs and festivals. His collegue and friend Christian Wünsch is no less famous in the DJ world: his album DJ mix “Unknown Landscapes Vol. II” was released to resounding international thumbs up. We welcome him back after his terrific set last August in Tresor. We welcome back Spanish multi-faceted artists Valentin Corujo and Héctor Sandoval alias Exium. Working side by side for more than a decade, releasing cracking techno tracks since the millenium on labels like Tsunami and Warm Up. in 2008 they set up a new project called “Selección Natural” together with fellow countrymen Oscar Mulero, Christian Wünsch and Reeko, resulting in some of the best and purest techno produced in the peninsula over the last decade. The affinity materialized in the creation of the essential PoleGroup platform. Without a doubt Exium is the techno act of the moment in Spain, their debut album “Roots of Time” was released last February 2011. Kwartz is a DJ and producer from Madrid who started his career in the world of techno in 2011, when he started creating his first characteristic productions: hypnotic, dark and enveloping. That same year Kwartz published his first EP with Main Concept and, since then, a multitude of his works have been released by labels such as Shapeless Records, Sonntag Morgen or ATT Series, amongst others, culminating in his joining the PoleGroup family of artists. In Globus: Darko Esser aka Tripeo returns for a DJ set tonight, after having celebrated the release of his first album “Anipintiros” last year in our home. Settling on the crossing borders between house & techno, don’t be surprised if he takes a sideway into broken beat, dubstep, electronics or the indescribable. Sleeparchive debuted on Tresor Records with a 4-track EP of sounds developed from his live act: a sort of turnaround in direction. To be certain, this is the quintessence of a entire palette of highly effective loops and drum sequencers, a delicious underground live experience that not only feels mighty right in the basement, but also feels right in the Tresor label family. Being both a brand and an author, Spanish PoleGroup artist Architectural wanted to let the creativity that lies deep within run free, and has carved out his first tracks by cementing a solid base of sonic material made up of pure techno with minimalist touches. Pure concrete straight from Chicago with Detroit ripples and forged of alloys derived from the most genuine Soul. Exploring new avenues in the deepest and most mental electronic music, and with Architect 001-003 under his belt, Architectural is a blazing star showing such a high level of creativity and innovation that leaves no room for doubt. P.E.A.R.L.‘s sets are characterized by broken rhythms and deep sounds, showing industrial influences. A former member of the group “Agony Forces”, that performed at the most important clubs and festivals in Spain, his restless and innovative nature often leads him to look for the sounds far beyond the dance club, bringing him closer to the other fields of electronic and experimental music.
