The Female:Pressure posse is a long-time friend of Tresor, over the years taking over our home with a feminine touch to electronica that is truly unique in the world. Electric Indigo‘s project is an international network of female artists in the fields of electronic music and digital arts: from musicians, composers and DJs to visual artists, cultural workers and researchers. Trish Van Eynde is one of the few if not one of the only female DJs who actually uses 3 turntables for mixing. This skill and her love for Detroit and futuristic inspired music has kept her true to creating her own sound. With a bright beginning at Belgium’s distinguished Buzz Records, in 2007 Trish started Electric Art Recordings, hosting the monthly ‘Electric Room’ parties at legendary Fuse Club, uniting a futuristic vision and intergalactic grooves. Her mission is all about electrifying grooves into a universal mindframe right on the dancefloor. Miss Sunshine‘s sets involve varieties of techno rich in colour and melodies, sometimes brooding and mysterious, all an extension of this lady’s warm personality and energy. Miss Sunshine has traveled the world‘s top clubs and festivals playing her music. In 2015 she released The Mood Module EP on the respected Deeply Rooted Records, under a new alias Insolate. Her sets are packed with an individual style, groove and technique that have become her trademark. Kaltès is a musician, producer and DJ living in Berlin. She has an extensive background in music and studied Art in Brussels. Now a passionate collector of strange and rare instruments, she is the sound-infatuated half of Anna Otto. She is also known as the promoter of “It’s Not Only Techno, Baby!”, an event she regularly host in Istanbul. Solid support is given by Dinamite‘s intelligible techno, ruled by a musical selection capability only available for accurately and experienced ears. With her Spanish underground roots, Dinamite‘s execution in the DJ booth is almost millimeter, enhancing the technical qualities of the set and the auditory introspection with the public. In the +4Bar, Acid Maria is an experienced DJ since the early 90s Munich underground scene whose influence is just as strong today. Over the years her reach became international: her style in music today ranges from minimal-rhythms to significant quotations and forms which cannot be put into precise definition. Eventually Acid Maria released records with friends like Steve Bug, Gebrüder Teichmann, Markus Güntner (Ware), Abe Duque, Steril and with DJ-friend Electric Indigo with different outputs like remixes, tracks, records, mix-CDs. Born in Flamez is a transhuman experiment that came to life in 2013. Shirking notions of identity, s/he subverts gender and genre with a panoply of influences somewhere in the nether regions between grime, industrial pop, and future electronics. BIF was discovered very early by Modeselektor, who shortly after featured the project on their Modeselektion series. Her DJ sets can vary depending on the occasion, from dark and experimental to fusing UK mutations of grime and house with jungle, dark step and industrial. Mieko Suzuki is a Japanese DJ and sound artist who has been based in Berlin since 2007. Grounded in hauling deep bass, Mieko‘s sets create a constant tension between the delicate, the raw and the daring. Folding together and finding connections between the subtle textures and qualities of different genres, Mieko‘s experimental approach always gives careful attention to the space and to the people. Noise and warm ambience, rhythm and industrial resonance are improvised together to submerge you in a big adventure of electronic sound.
