Oscar Mulero is without question THE techno DJ of Spain. And when he announces a new album project, it also goes without question that the techno world pays full attention to Mr. PoleGroup. Mulero only recently began to utilize the LP form in his later works. In 2011, almost 20 years after he entered the the studio for the first time with New World, his first album “Grey Fades To Green” was released. With “Muscle And Mind” he has created this year his fourth full-length work which will be in the stores on April 20th. Gracing us with a set tonight during our Tresor 24th birthday month, his sometimes lubricious and/or mesmeric sound reflecting Detroit underground and his own Warm Up Recordings is a treat for all techno soldiers. The album will be accompanied by a second CD/LP containing reworks by Stanislav Tolkachev and the myserious moniker, live artist Shxcxchcxsh both of whom will be joining Mr. Mulero on the decks tonight, followed by a fierce set by Tresor resident HGR. On the Globus floor we continue indulging in our passion for the freshest, top-of-the-line Deep House. And few are better equipped to tackle the mission than the Detroit label Sistrum. Label chief and head deepster Patrice Scott has managed to establish his label among his peers as one of benchmarks of the style, far from the generic fodder of the hysterical hype machinery. On Scott‘s side tonight are some designated artists who also command hordes of commradely respect: Metrolux head honcho, DJ’s DJ and Patrice‘s B2B buddy XDB. Finale Sessions artist and recently Sistrum-signed Jay Mond completes this excellent trio – all in the family!
