Tonight our friends at Perc Trax and Pole Group return for some dance action on the Tresor Floor. As in 2013 we welcome back Spanish multi-faceted artists Valentin Corujo and Héctor Sandoval alias Exium. Both have been working side by side for more than a decade, releasing cracking techno tracks since the millenium on labels like Tsunami and Warm Up. in 2008 they set up a new project called “Selección Natural” together with fellow countrymen Oscar Mulero, Christian Wünsch and Reeko. This resulted in some of the best and purest techno produced in the peninsula over the last decade. The affinity materialised in the creation of the PoleGroup platform, nowadays essential in terms of techno. Recently delving into the world of video, they were awarded the prestigious Villa de Bilbao award, in the New Trends category. Exium is without a doubt the techno act of the moment in Spain; their debut album “Roots of Time” was released last February 2011. Now residing in New York, Derek Plaslaiko originally gained a reputation in his hometown Detroit for forward-thinking DJ sets that were clinical, sophisticated and extremely sensual, consequently being asked by Carl Craig to perform at the inaugural edition of the Detroit Electronic Music Festival. Now integral to the NY techno scene, he was honored in the Village Voice 2006 “Best Of” poll as New York’s Best Techno DJ. Kwartz is a DJ and producer from Madrid who started his career in the world of techno in 2011, when he started creating his first characteristic productions: hypnotic, dark and enveloping. In 2013 he released a joint EP with Exium and the summer of 2013 saw him joining PoleGroup. The +4Bar welcomes Fragil, a Paris-based, vinyl-only label run by Raphael Fragil, developing original, deep and trippy music with wide influences from house to techno music. Raphael has invited label-mate Bluereed aka Myako for the night. Kaltès and Kritzkom aka Anna Otto‘s creative process began in the fall of 2010, after recognizing a common passion for sounds, machines, uncommon instruments, and the creation of atmosphere – a live-only project. French artist Roman Azzaro aka Rouge Mécanique completes the program.
