Tresor presents Construct Re-Form
Sun 28 December 2014 - 23:59

Society Of Silence combines the forces of two Parisian artists and friends, Benoît Legrain or Fareed, and Nicolas Villebrun, known as Tite. The Society Of Silence sound seems to act as a catalyst in a complex creative process involving two complementary sets of influences and psyches, curing into something much more concrete when combined, and with support from artists like Anthony “Shake” Shakir, strong reviews in Resident Advisor, and live concerts for Warp, these two wise-guys continue to win the hearts and souls of producers and DJs alike. Head Front Panel is a new mysterious techno venture and sub-label from Andrew Ingram’s Tabernacle Records focusing on techno from anonymous artists in 2014. It will run as a 12″ vinyl series, limited to 150 copies per release and indeed a mysterious and highly-anticipated live set awaits your baited curiosity. Johannes Volk is a producer, DJ and label owner of Exploration Records who saw his first release in 2006 on Jeff Mills‘ Axis label – respect. As a DJ, Johannes’ depth of knowledge and ear for a groove is rivaled by few: his conceptual techno style results in DJ sets that combine an open minded, raw and hypnotic techno sound. A warm-up set by our terrific basement resident Mareena completes the Tresor Floor program. Upstairs in Globus: Mr. Tophat and Art Alfie are based in Stockholm, Sweden. Mr. Tophat is resident and founder of Junk Yard Connections (Strictly limited, no repress) and co-founder with Art Alfie in Karlovak Recordings, a label with primary focus on the dance floor. They’re also running their sublabel Karlovak Chrome, which aims for the more demented hours at the club. Oskar Offermann is a German producer and DJ on the White label; and Berlin-born Tristen who has made a name for himself as DJ, producer, as well as label manager and A&R for his own imprint Aim Vinyl, releasing beautifully crafted house music. It is a keen eye for detail that can be found in Tristen‘s DJ sets and has gathered him a loyal following far beyond the Berlin club mile. With a distinctive selection track and a unique feel for the crowd he will continue to inspire crowds around the globe.
