Tresor Records 25 Years. PART I
Fri 07 October 2016 - 23:59

In 1991 only a matter of months after Tresor Club opened its underground doors, the club founders decided to bring some of the new sounds coming out of Detroit to Berlin and along with German innovators in the genre, founded the club’s own record label – Tresor Records. Now 25 years later the label is more prolific than ever, and just as daring and cutting-edge in the pursuit of electronic music frontiers. In order to remain in the fold and continue to discover the strength of the genre, new and progressive talent is the key, and the releases over the last few years have reflected the determined influx of creativity from outstanding international artists. Some of these newer trailblazers and label family members are here to celebrate 25 years of Tresor Records tonight, and those who know their releases, will confirm their importance to the label and to the world of house and techno itself: south Germany’s Zenker Brothers, Marcelus, Reka, Jonas Kopp, DJ Deep, Zadig and J.C. give it up on the Tresor and Globus floors tonight!
