Ilian Tape artist Andres Zacco is from Argentina and his releases combine vanguard sounds influenced by other styles coming from Detroit and Chicago. His sets are composed of techno, dub, clicks, electro and house styles. He has also created his own label called Greener, that acts as a bridge to show a techno digital vision and tripped out texure. Joining the basement crew is Jose Cabrera aka J.C. from Spain, whose style of simple, raw, stripped down and hypnotic techno is honed for the basement sensibilities. In the +4Bar: Dirt Crew is Break 3000 and James Flavour, who also run Dirt Crew Recordings. Their sound is a mixture of old school house and new school techno. From their first EP “Cleaning up the Ghetto Part I” on MBF they gathered respect in the industry, mastering the art of mixing old school house, new school deep house and minimal funky techno. The “Crew” are well known for an eclectic taste in vinyl material that can only come from true and honest propensity to party. They’ll often throw down sadly forgotten 80’s acid cuts and chuck some old-skool breakbeats on top, just for good measure. They seamlessly weave these elements into their signature sexy, dance floor friendly, beats with an electro-esque pulse that’s sure to keep the heat rising. L.A.-born and Berlin-based, Steve Huerta is a producer and instrumentalist. With a style founded on classic house sensibilities, Huerta‘s distinctive productions reveal a broad range of influence and reverent musicality. His music is released on Dirt Crew Recordings and many more. We also welcome back frequent guest artist P.Toile, whose sound developed from French house to minimal techno, while funk and soul of the seventies yet her main music roots can be still heard in her DJ sets. Dirt Crew’s young duo Brame & Hammo round off this serious house music program for your +4Bar pleasure.
