Italian duo Lucretia and Marieu are Xenogears but fans know them already as the Analogue Cops who are the founders of Berlin’s Restoration Records. Their studio moniker Xenogears found the duo releasing some techno finery played by legendary Detroit DJs and now they are back under the alias with a full-length “Lost Artemis“ LP. Exploring underground spheres and exquisite breakbeats, you really should not miss this live set tonight. Italian artist Neel’s sound is deep house-techno going though ambient atmospheres and melting with the performance situation. A nack for production, he joined Donato Dozzy for the Voices In The Lake project which resulted in a longplayer in 2012. Now residing in New York, Derek Plaslaiko honed his techno talent in Detroit, a reputation for forward thinking DJ sets that were clinical, sophisticated and extremely sensual. This combination resulted in a residency for Family, the weekly party at Detroit’s legendary Motor. Currently, Derek is one of the resident DJs at the Bunker (Subtonic) in NYC, as well as an integral part of the Wolf + Lamb monthly parties. In 2006 he was honored in the Village Voice’s “Best Of” poll as New York’s Best Techno DJ. Material Object manifests himself in diverse forms and styles, a true electronic music chameleon who for example joined with Atom to produce the “No.Inc.” project and label, or a collaboration with the recently deceased, legendary ambient composer Pete Namlook. In the +4Bar: DJ and producer Peter Kremeier alias Losoul is a member of a unique guild of artists that always has been blessed with his very own sound signature. In the course of his musical socialisation, Losoul came across a kaleidoscope of different styles: techno- and house blueprints, funk and soul of the seventies, prehistorical hip hop and of course a bit of jazz for the mind. Fueled with his unparalleled ability to abstract the basics of dance music, tracks out of his forge blaze as typical Losoul grooves (on the legendary Frankfurt label Playhouse for example), his gigs have always been an insider top tip. Also on the program: the mild mixture, deep techno and mature house grooves of Laylla Dane, and an excellent set by frequent guest Barroso aka Alex Cliché.
