Few producers/DJs measure up to the legacy of Ibadan Records’ Jerome Sydenham. With a career launched from an A&R position with Atlantic Records during the peak of the 90s New York house era he is today regarded one of electronic music’s premier modern visionaries. His premier solo deep house album “Animal Social Club” from 2012 was released to international acclaim. Hits like the award winning house tracks ‘Sandcastles’ and ‘Timbuktu’ – both co-produced with Dennis Ferrer – and the monstrous techno slammer ‘Elephant’ co-produced with Rune has cemented him as a master craftsman of the global dance music spectrum. Tim Xavier is a Berlin Transplant who is also the mastering engineer at his own vinyl/audio mastering company, Mandmade Mastering. Loved and respected by many, feared by some, Tim Xavier‘s passionate personality and lifestyle have kept him on the forefront of techno since his first releases almost a decade ago. On the stage Tim is known for his undeniable talent as a once-hard techno mixer turned minimal trend-setter, playing a diverse blend of deep minimal, techno and house music with classic technical skills. EDEC artist Jon Hester and Tresor resident TAG complete the basement program. The +4Bar welcomes a headlining act among the young and promising producers/DJs of Paris, John Jastszebski, who previously studied cinema, now draws inspiration from cinematographic culture to create a heavy house and techno sound. Formerly a fan of hip-hop, John is now (and has been for the past ten years) mainly bound to all that is techno. Miss Jools is the native Londoner who cut her teeth and carved her niche in the UK capital, before deciding to relocate to Berlin in 2009. In 2011 Miss Jools joined forces with Julie Marghilano, founder of the Berlin based parties Sol Asylum to become the resident DJ where she still resides. In 2014 alongside fellow DJ and Producer Patrice Meiner, nurtured from a strong connection of their shared passions and eclectic taste in music they formed a collaboration with Julie to help run her newly born Sol Asylum Record Label. Solid turntable support by French artist DJ Steaw.
