As a producer, American artist Dustin Zahn releases on labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, and CLR have brought him international success. While Dustin‘s original productions are something of the rare and special sort, it’s his remixes that have helped catapult him into the collections of DJs everywhere: Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Green Velvet, Dubfire, Nic Fanciluli, Mark Broom, Joel Mull, and many others. His DJ sets are much like his releases. “I like it dark enough for the boys, but groovy enough for the girls.” With a preference for marathon sets and his laid-back approach to life and music, he seamlessly traverses through various genres which creates a unique, hypnotic vibe that isn’t found among most DJs. Scottish DJ Secluded aka Hans Bouffmyhre is not even 30 yrs. old and he’s already amassed a prolific resumé of activity. His legendary and often star-studded Glasgow Sleaze parties eventually grew into the now highly respected Sleaze Records and now he plays in top internationally clubs, many times a guest in our home. Also on the Tresor Floor: Israel’s Yotam Avni, whose track “Heliotropism” was selected for Derrick May’s 2CD compilation “Beyond the Dance: Transmat 4”; and our solid floor shaker resident HGR. The +4Bar welcomes Jay Daniel, a young Detroit DJ on the rise, and undoubtedly a name that will be heard often in the next couple years. Jay’s mother, singer & songwriter Naomi Daniel, is the voice behind Planet-E classics “Stars” & “Feel the Fire” which were released in the early 90’s. Making his debut at the Movement Festival 2012, Boiler Room called Jay Daniel “one of the most exciting new discoveries we made in Detroit”, and most of his first releases found themselves on Theo Parrish’ Sound Signature label. Elizabeth is a surprising Berlin DJ, playing in some of the best underground locations and gifting dancefloors a multi-faceted soundscape of house music styles. Sarah Miles from Berlin Community Radio rounds off the program.
