The +4Bar is again hosting the monthly E-MAN-CI-PATE night: resident house music legends Tyree Cooper and Bobby Starrr introduce a top guest in the house music vein each and every time, and this month’s guest is an anticipated pleasure. London based DJ and Producer Rob Mello has recorded, produced, and remixed a diverse catalogue of releases since 1992. Previously signed to Azuli Records, Rob was also co-founder of the saucy house label Luxury Service and produced the first Black Science Orchestra single with Ashley Beedle, “Where were you”, released on the legendary London house label, Boys Own. Since then Rob Mello has been appearing regularly on Classic Records and after 10 years of releases for this label has produced the very last release on this ground breaking label. Downstairs the Tresor basement floor welcomes two Deeply Rooted artists: DJ Deep is a French techno and house producer and DJ who runs the Deeply Rooted label, formerly Deeply Rooted House. One of the most revered members of the French house scene, DJ Deep has made it his duty to share deep house beats with a growing global audience. As a member of the Respect roster of artists, his Respect is burning parties, a resumé containing a virtual who’s who of international venues and a CD series that has kept listeners on the pulse of the hot French house scene. Emmanuel‘s music it’s without any doubt his skill in transposing and make concrete the hidden essence of his day by day emotions. After a successful EP release in 2007, he was quickly signed to Israel artist ShlomiAber’s imprint Be As One. Denise Rabe mainly plays techno and dub techno, whereas her alter ego “ichundfred” is known for good old house and deep house music. Promoted by Sweatlodge after a move to Berlin, she has also been courted by Legotek Records – a definite artist to watch.
