Tresor loves the international scene and tonight is a distinct reflection on that course. Our friends at Restoration met a surefire quality release in 2014 with lthe raw, hardware-driven Italian house duo Xenogears’ “Lost Artemis” longplayer. Restoration founders Marieu and Lucretio (you may know them by their alias Analogue Cops, as they have often appeared in our home) give it up tonight as Xenogears with a live set of their signature mix of tough techno – with thrilling loops, funky bits and even breakbeat infused – for the modern listener and the futuristic seeker. Joining this basement artistry is Milton Baldwin aka DJ Skurge from Detroit. Having been noticed by Mike Banks, he was invited to be in the foursome revival of Model 500 and a proper member of the UR family. His stern dedication to the crafts has seen him take on the role of musical director in many projects, while he somehow found time to release some genre bending EPs of his own while recording with The Aquanauts as well. Norway’s DJ Sotofett from 1500 Moss’ Sex Tags Mania creates his own magic on the decks, as well as driven techno DJ Borut from Croatia. The +4Bar welcomes American artist Kenneth Scott who will slash out a live set of his “bastardized melange of electronic dance music”. Promoter, collaborative performer, and consummate after-party DJ extraordinaire, Scott shifted his attention more seriously to solo production, which is currently garnering him increasing accolades in his new home of Berlin. The enticing chemistry of the DJ/Producer team Foehn & Jerome from Austria also found a new home in Berlin, with local fans loving their crafted brand of organically deep and infectiously shoulder-shaking house music. Originally from Australia and also currently based in Berlin, Tom Lally has been DJing and organising events for the last 10 years after having cemented his quality reputation in the Melbourne scene.
