Swedish label Northern Electronics sets up camp for tonight’s regular Tuna Park Friday night blend of modern electronica. And the underground rules tonight’s impressive line-up. Jonas Rönnberg aka Varg aka many, many monikers under which he produces sweeping and vast sets that weave through incredible spectrums of dark, industrial and almost cinematic proportions. Also submerged in both rhythm and deep underground mystery, Abdulla Rashim‘s shadowy aesthetic floats in balance with his uncompromising work. Wholly dedicated to his ideas and sound, Rashim‘s quest for renewal and the importance of his craft has reflected well both internationally and locally, where he is praised alike. As Ulwhednar they deliver an unparalleled and powerful WORLD PREMIERE live set in the basement tonight, as well as a solo set by Rashim. Fabian Jean-Philipe Kempe aka Korridor also delivers some live hypnotic sounds, as well as Acronym whose stripped bare and excellent demo track 02 on our label speaks for itself. Jin Mustafa‘s uncomprimising DJ sets of hard hitting techno are a vital part of Stockholm’s club collective Samlingen. Jin Mustafa has organized club nights and frequented behind the decks since 2009. Her position in the Stockholm club scene is also manifested through feministic club network Grupp 13, known for their novel open air parties and club nights. Jin Mustafa has played at electronic music festivals Volt and New Media Meeting and along The Knife in Stockholm for their 2013 Shaking The Habitual tour. In the upstairs +4Bar, Italian-born Topper‘s style is dark and psychedelic, groovy and trippy. A definite lover of all things psychedelic, he moved to Berlin and is a contemporary turntable voodoo child… Also gracing the decks will be Libertine artist Omar as well as Jason Lanox from Spacehall, two Berlin DJs to complete a night of kickin’ electronica.
