Blake Baxter was part of the first wave of house and techno music DJs and producers from Detroit. Baxter started producing music in 1985. Following appearances on Transmat and KMS Records, Baxter also released music on the Underground Resistance record label in 1990. The early 90s kickstarted a long relationship with Tresor, as a resident DJ in the club and many releases on the label including an album trilogy called Dream Sequence. The Prince of Techno, affectionately nicknamed by his peers, continues to produce and mix today.
