Mareena is a resident DJ at Tresor and the founder of the label Unrush. She regularly hosts the New Faces night at the club, helping emerging talents break into the Berlin scene. Her first released production saw her team up with JakoJako for a track on a compilation on Unrush. JakoJako is a Berlin-based techno artist who primarily performs live and uses modular synthesis extensively in her music. In 2019 she released her debut Aequilibration EP on Leisure System, which demonstrated subtle sound design, and sensuous techno grooves.
